Marketing Strategy

The Schooba Academy’s target market for mentors is active, educated, socially conscious individuals between the ages of 16 – 60.

The Schooba Academy approaches this market with three goals in mind:

1.     Engage – The Schooba Academy first works to grab the attention of its market.

2.     Enlighten – We then work to educate our market as to what we do.

3.     Invest – Lastly, we show our market why what we do is important in efforts of securing their long-term investment in our cause.

With this foundation, The Schooba Academy will market its service in a diversity of ways.  Among others:

  • Promoting at local schools and universities
  • Media outreach, i.e. newspapers, television, and the Internet, among others.
  • The distribution of flyers and business cards
  • Social networking venues, i.e. facebook, twitter, etc.
  • Word of mouth
  • www.schooba.org – The Schooba Academy website.
  • Schooba marketing challenges! – Schooba affiliates are presented with different challenges resulting in different prizes, i.e. wearing their schooba academy t-shirts everyday for a month, or wearing a  schooba mask all day long, etc.
