Schoobent caught wearing ocean themed pins!

Schooba gets a mention in Scientific American!

Scientific American, the oldest continuously published magazine in the US (Founded in 1845!), recently launched their ‘Bring Science Home‘ initiative, which will offer 20 free tabletop science activities during the month of May.  Check it out, and then check out our mention for helping with the project! Schooba presents at Earth Day Rockaway!

This past Saturday, the Rockaway Waterfront Alliance and the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation hosted the 5th Annual Earth Day Rockaway celebration, a fun-filled afternoon of environmental education, arts and crafts, and entertainment on the boardwalk at Beach 59th Street.  Schooba was there in full force, tabling materials and presenting workshops to kids, teenagers, and adults alike.  Have a look at some highlights from the day:

Ocean Horizons Scuba is Brooklyn’s premier scuba shop, offering instruction from entry level to instructor certification.  They’ll be hooking us up (big time!!) for our in-water training which will take place at St. Francis College in their 13 foot pool!  Super huge thanks for all of your support!
